Biography

Jeffrey Hicks is a native of Atlanta, GA. He is a Broker with Apollo Associates Realty where he started his real estate career in 1995. His concentration has been in the area of acquisitions, feasibility analysis, financial performance, asset management, and sale of real property.

Jeffrey’s serves as President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB ®). NAREB was formed in 1947 to secure the right to equal housing opportunities regardless of race, creed or color. NAREB has advocated for legislation and supported legal challenges that ensure fair housing, sustainable homeownership, and access to credit for Black Americans along with promoting access to business opportunities for Black real estate professionals. NAREB is intensely focused on implementing initiatives that identify economic solutions, rebuild communities, increase real estate values, and elevate the rate of Black homeownership.

Jeffrey is an active member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church where he serves on the Trustee Board, Housing Ministry, and Environmental Stewardship committee.

He is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Marketing. He is married to Dr. Joya Hicks and they are the proud parents of two children, Jessica (12) and James(10).
